Assimilation and Rabbit Trails

Here we go Folks,
Here is the start of the rabbit trail. Who knows where it'll take us, but I look forward to exploring each path to the next until we've exhausted the west end and travel east, and from there where-ever the north wind takes us-- east o' the sun or west o' the moon.
I will have to get this better refined, but for now here is a summery: Assimilation is a blog about a 21st century artist, for 21st century artists. It covers the rabbit trails of life, and the application of those rabbit trails pebbled with gems along the way. It is a journal for my journey in my profession, as I will have to tackle new challenges and hopefully overcome them--or at least learn a thing or two. I will document my work (or at least I better!), share my knowledge, and happily receive any returned. My life will pop in here and there, as I think our relationships, choices, and lives in general really help to shape where we go in our profession as artists.

If there is anything I hope the ever widening sea of people will get from this, is that non-artists will better understand the life of an artist, and that my fellow artists will find a fellow colleague, support, and resource-- to continue contributing this lush world I belong to.
